This is by far the biggest winter navigation event in Ontario, and it’s loads of fun! Teams of two head out for 3 hrs with a map that shows about 40 checkpoints worth different values. Your mission is to find as many flags and collect as many points as you can within the 3-hr time limit, then come back to the Horseshoe Valley Chalet for some hot food and socializing. There is a popular parent-child category for those with kids under age 12 as of Dec. 31. The regular entry fee is available until this Saturday at midnight, then small late fees apply.
