Orienteering Ontario Races

Published on November 25, 2009

As always, keep an eye on the Orienteering Ontario website for upcoming navigation events around southern Ontario.  There are 6 clubs in southern Ontario, and there are often events within an hour's drive.

As you'll see on the Orienteering Ontario events calendar, the Thomass winter orienteering series continues until late March.  Thomass races are age/gender handicapped to level the playing field, and they are intended to be FUN.  Even if you have limited navigation experience, don't be afraid to come out and do even part of the course, or go out with a friend, or whatever makes you feel comfortable.  The races are inexpensive, and I can guarantee that if you start your day by running around in the woods, the rest of your day will feel sooo much better!  :-)
